Challenge #8 - Chris
Challenge #8 involved finding your scrapping idol! You were to find someone who's work you think is fabulous. Find a layout of theirs and scraplift. You must include the word "dream" and a star somewhere in the layout.
Chris did this layout with pictures from the Rock Boat:
Her layout was inspired by schneeflocke - who made this adorable "Love" layout:
Challenge #7
Challenge #7 was from Sunshine Studio Scraps. They gave us a fun mini kit. We had to make a layout using every single item in the kit. We were able to recolor and alter - but we had to make sure each item was used.
Amber did quite a bit of recoloring and came up with this fun layout from her SIL's maternity pics!
Chris used these adorable "juicy" pics of sweet Madison.

Challenge #6 - RoadBlock
This week's challenge was for only 1 partner to participate. Since Chris was on a cruise all week it was a pretty easy choise who would do the layout :) . For the challenge, the partner participating was to find a layout that the other partner did. Then you had to take that layout - flip it horizontal or vertical - then rotate it 45 degrees. Then use that as a template and scraplift your partners layout. You also could only use the exact number of items as your partner. This was our challenge #6 layout:
I chose to use Chris' adorable "Happy Birthday Moon" layout!

Challenge #5 - Amber
I'm going to go ahead and post this. Chris will be a little later with hers - as she is enjoying some fun and sun on a cruise right now! Challenge 5 was a little trickier - we were to use 3 different and seperate picture frames - but use no photos on our layout! I thought about resolutions and went for it! I worked on this layout for 3 days and it isn't normally the sort of layout I would do - but I was happy with how it turned out!

Chris did a fabulous layout about how her sweet granddaughter colors her world.
Amber did a layout about the challenges of being a third child.

Challenge #3 - Amber
Challenge #3 was to find one of our first scrapbooking layouts, and redo it using the skills we have learned. I did my first layout over 3 years ago! It was right after Owen was born. We had to use the exact pictures - no more/no less, and we had to use any text/journaling that was on there. Those were the main 2 restrictions. I was so excited with how my new version came out! It was really fun going back and reworking that layout!

Challenge #2!
This challenge was a biggie! We had a lot of rules and restrictions. For this challenge we had to work together to do one layout! It had to have a theme of "Cabin Fever," you had to use only 3 photos, 4 papers, 8 different elements, 2 fonts and have a title and journaling. I chose these pictures of Logan sledding down his grandma's stairs during the big ice storm we had 2 years ago. Chris and I worked for 2 days getting this layout completed and I am pleased with our end results! Click on the link to see it in the gallery!

Challenge #1
Challenge number 1 has been posted! It is found at Hummie's World. For the first challenge, each partner must make a layout using a photograph with at least 3 tears, and the layout must have journaling.
NOTE: Click on the layouts to see them in the ADSR Gallery!
Amber had some fun making a Halloween layout with her three boys. The main photo with the tears, shows each boy walking down the sidewalk trick-or-treating. She then attached smaller photos of each boy - to their torn piece - with their faces in their costumes.
